The Play Of The Day

March 6, 2000
8:54 AM EST.

Good Morning Stock Fans!

Today's Play of The Day is: TelCom Semiconductor, Inc (NASDAQNM:TLCM)

TelCom Semiconductor, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures and markets a diversified portfolio of high-performance analog integrated circuits for a wide variety of applications in the industrial, wireless communications, computing, networking and medical markets. The Company's products comprise four principal product families: Power Management Products such as MOSFET drivers, low dropout regulators, DC to DC converters, and CMOS voltage detectors (including microprocessor supervisory circuits); Data Converter Products which include data acquisition system and display analog to digital converters; Thermal Management Products that provide thermal control information; and Linear Products such as operational amplifiers, voltage references and comparators that act as linear building blocks in a wide range of electronic systems.

Stock Fans, no news and volume is 275%. Relative Strength compared to the S&P is 94. TCLM is being accumulated and apparently they know something that the news wires haven't reported! That means there ought to be a scalp in there for us at Big Play Stocks!

Buy Area:$29.50 to $30.15
Sell Stop:$28.64
TARGET: $33.165 to $34.67
Time Frame: 2-5 days

BONUS PLAY #1: Razorfish, Inc.(Nasdaq NM:RAZF)

Founded in 1995, Razorfish leverages digital technologies to help companies invent and reinvent the way they do business. The Company delivers a complete set of end-to-end solutions including strategy, design, and technology services across platforms, devices, and networks. Stock Fans, Razorfish is bouncing off of support on major volume! It made the "Naz" list of "Where the Big Money is Flowing". All of the timing indicators say that this is the spot for entry. This has room to run and I am looking for a nice return.

Buy Area:$40.75 to $41.25
Sell Stop:$39.19
TARGET: $45.38 to $47.44
Time Frame: 3-6 days

BONUS PLAY #2: Acxiom Corporation (NASDAQ:ACXM)

Acxiom Corporation is a global leader in providing comprehensive information management solutions using customer, consumer and business data. The Company's products and services enable clients to use information to improve business decision-making and effectively manage existing and prospective customer relationships. It offers clients the most technologically advanced, accurate and timely solutions available. The Company has three primary lines of business: Services, Data Products and Information Technology Management. The Services segment provides solutions which integrate and manage customer, consumer, and business data using the Company's information management skills and technology. Data Products include the InfoBase Enhancement and Analytical Products lines. The Information Technology Management segment includes data center management, transaction processing services, technical support, help-desk access, back-up recovery, and disaster recovery services.

Most companies in the business of providing online customer solutions are bleeding red ink. Acxiom's financials and
fundamentals, on the other hand, look strong. For the nine months ended December 31, 1999, revenues rose 30 percent to $702.6 million. Net income totaled $63.5 million versus a loss of $34.8 million. Revenues increased in all segments of its business.

From a technical perspective, ACXM stock looks poised to move higher, finishing the day at a new 52-week, and all-time high, closing at $31.58 per share. If you believe legendary investor Peter Lynch's theory that, "stocks that hit new highs tend to move higher," then this play sets up perfectly to apply that theory

Buy Area: $31.50-32.50
Sell Stop: $29.75
TARGET: $34.75
Time Frame: 2-7 days
Type of Trade: Swing Trade
