STOCK TO WATCH TODAY: Softnet Systems (NASDAQ:SOFN)

Through its ISP Channel, (NASDAQ:SOFN) provides a complete full service Internet access business to partnering cable companies. ISP Channel's services to its cable affiliates include cable head-end equipment and integration, Internet backbone connectivity, and technical support and customer care twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. ISP Channel gives customers high speed Internet access at speeds many times faster than standard dial-up when downloading files, graphics, audio and video.

The company lost much less then First Call estimates. It has been in a steady uptrend of late with increased volume. The numbers caught analysts and investors both off guard as the stock closed down more then $1.00 yesterday, ahead of its earnings report. It should gap up relatively quickly as this stock should find the low 40's over the next 5-6 trading days. It is backed by CMGI so it should get some notice with both factors in play.
